Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and schedules, to ensure alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and data necessary for tender submissions, including site conditions, equipment specifications, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, procurement, and finance, to develop cost estimates, pricing strategies, and tender proposals.
  • Assist in the analysis of tender requirements, risks, and opportunities, and contribute technical insights and recommendations to enhance competitiveness.
  • Prepare and organize tender documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tendering guidelines and procedures.
  • Support the coordination and communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners to obtain quotes, specifications, and other information required for tender submissions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders to support tendering activities and decision-making.
  • Maintain and update tendering databases, records, and documentation to track tender progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to facility management and tendering processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback, suggestions, and lessons learned from tendering experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering) or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in facility management, engineering, or a related field, with exposure to tendering processes and practices.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of facility management principles, equipment, and systems, with a Civil / MEP background recommended.
  • Experience working in a technical office environment is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
