Job Description
Responsibilities
• Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.
• Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary.
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals at tender process.
• Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
• Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
• Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
• Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
• Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
• Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
• All other duties as relevant to the post.
• Study the project’s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
• Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.
• Prepare comparative analyses documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation.
• Engaged in the preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.
• Handover won projects to other department
Job Requirements
· 4 to 7 years of professional experience in a Tendering and Cost Estimation role.
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering
· Accomplished communication skills with experience discussing finances, budgets, and costs.
· Experienced in using ERP system .
· Excellence in MS Office.
· High communication skills.
