Purpose of the Job:
- Ensure that the service our organization provides is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations.
- Coordinating the activities required to meet the quality standards. Monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards. - Based in Hurghada
About the role
- Focusing on high defect areas and re-establishing process and service steps in cooperation with HODs, for an improved outcome while eliminating non-value adding steps.
- Devising and establishing MPH quality procedures, standards and specifications.
- Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met and monitoring their compliance.
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Making sure that the services or processes meet international and national standards.
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve our business
- Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
- Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
Job Requirements
- Lean six Sigma , Green belt or Black belt certified
- High Education degree – Bachelor in MBA or Tourism or similar is advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of English (written, verbal)
- Must be able to use proficiently all Microsoft Office Applications
- Skillful operational use of the computer and its word processing program.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a five star international hotel chain and in the same position.
- Must be able to work in pressure environments and high-intensity situations
- Must be hard working & a team player, with a result-orientated attitude.
- Organizational and planning skills
- Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
- The ability to work as part of a team
