Job Description
- Design shop drawings and specify materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc.) based on customer need and requests.
- Preparing cutting list with product shop drawing in detail from the types of raw materials used in thicknesses, colors, accessories, etc.
- Responsible for attending tenders with the sales team, answering the committee’s inquiries, knowing their requests and implementing them
- Follow up on the implementation of the sample according to the drawing agreed upon and approved by the client to display it at the specified time with comments on it.
- creating the technical and financial offer based on the samples and quantities required
- Dealing with the project’s consultant and the ability to present ideas and find solutions and alternatives.
- Work closely with sales departments
- Send all of the order documents to all concerned departments.
- Ensure design products with high, innovative, functional production solutions and ensure the proper conversion to processes.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of Technical Office policies and procedures
- Receive technical measurements and convert it to drawing with documents to ensure consistency.
- Produce order detailed, cutting lists and shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity and quality of the materials required and select suitable accessories and methods
- Support in all aspects of pricing, prototyping and production
- Analyze technical aspects of design factors, calculating weights, volumes and stress
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Applied Arts or equivalent (Interior & furniture Designer).
- Previous experience in wood manufacturing and affiliated furniture companies
- Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word – Excel - PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of AutoCAD, 3Dmax, SketchUp.
- excellent command in English
- Aware of the furniture/interiors industry and the manufacturing phases, components
- Previous experience in prepping cutting lists and cost analysis.
- Work Conditions:
- Location: Industrial Zone, Abu Rawash,Giza, Egypt.
- 2 Days off.
- Transportation is provided.
