  • Follow-up, audit and prepare reports pertaining to the 5’S framework for housekeeping within the production area and take corrective action accordingly following management approval.
  • Plan and implement the Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate the operational wastage and to sustain efficient process for higher productivity.
  • Process mapping/stream mapping for enhancing the process flow efficiency and assist production team to set appropriate Key Performance Index (KPI).
  • Conduct root-cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot production issues, material flow and production capacity in coordination with appropriate personnel for enhancing process efficiency through application of Plant Management concepts.
  • Standardize operational practices to sustain good manufacturing practices and coordinate with Management System for streamlining process documentation.  
  • Carryout and prepare advanced data collection and analysis, follow-up with concerned team members to be able to issue production performance reports.
  • Undertake execution of projects allocated by Plant Management through coordinating appropriate operational personnel for enhancing production excellence and cost optimization appropriately.

Job Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Prior work experience (2-4 years) in manufacturing, packaging, or specifically in the corrugated packaging industry is highly preferred.
  • Project Management Experience: Experience in managing engineering projects, such as production line optimization, equipment upgrades, or process improvements, is often required.
  • Experience with Corrugating Machinery: Hands-on experience working with corrugators, rotary die cutters, or other packaging machinery (such as flexo printers or gluing machines) is essential to optimize production processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or electrical Engineering, is required.
