Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Based onsite at our plant in Dammam (Saudi Arabia), we are looking for a Reliability Engineer specialist in Electrical/Systems. They will be a part of the Facility Operations team which is dedicated to ensure that all Electrical/System/Controls (BMS) assets perform safely and at ultimate level of performance.As a key contributor to our reliability efforts, this position will have a comprehensive and analytical approach to predict, prevent, eliminate or reduce equipment failures through application of current reliability techniques. Also, they will design and implement reliability improvement standards, on-going training and education, and equipment modifications in order to achieve world class maintenance reliability.The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for full Life Cycle Asset Management and for keeping our deployed technology systems current.Primary ResponsibilitiesTechnically responsible for part of / all electrical components of the plantPerform failure mode and effect analysis to assure the proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs are implemented, audited and improved on all existing and future assetsApplication of Reliability Based Maintenance programs such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)Assess & develop capability of systems and multiskilled crafts on their role in reliability improvement and to advance their technical capabilitiesAnalyze data (failure, cost, uptime, etc.) using appropriate reliability analysis tools to develop & implement improvement plansServe as the equipment reliability Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business and lead reliability improvement teamsManage and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) detailing all the results of the reliability programs activitiesProvide leadership support for Maintenance Conscious Engineering strategiesPerform & document equipment criticality analysis in support of an effective critical spares strategyParticipate in the Management of Change process to optimize the reliability of new equipment or processesSubmit recommendations and justification for capital expenditures that support and improve the Reliability ProgramProvide an external awareness of methods and technologies that advance our own internal body of knowledge for the improvement of our operations reliabilityAble to interface with and troubleshoot the following motor control equipment properly and safely: motor starters, run relays; Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); Servo motors and controlsAble to interface with and troubleshoot Allen Bradley, Siemens and other plant PLC's including: connecting to the PLC, reading ladder logic, programming, diagnosing hardware and software problemsEffectively maintain programming, hardware networking and communication; troubleshoot, determine causes of failure and perform corrective actionsKnowledge of electrical distribution, proper maintenance practices for safe and effective operations, and identification of necessary renewal.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in an Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering related discipline from an accredited UniversityProfessional reliability credentials such as: Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or Certified Maintenance & Reliability TechnicianPrior experience with PLC’s and must be able to read and understand various types of PLC logic and programming structuresExperience with maintaining high voltage systems and electrical distributionExperience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM)High level of understanding and ability to use analytical tools and troubleshootingGood communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with the ability to communicate at all levelsUnderstanding of safety components (Relays, I/O, controllers) and ability to troubleshoot safety circuitsBasic understanding of Robotics Systems and emerging technologies with troubleshooting and programming experienceWork location: Onsite Dammam (must be able to commute and reach the Plant at short notice and work extra time when needed)If you are interested in this role, please apply with a copy of your CV in English.
