Kearney, Collections Team LeadAbout the jobAs a Collections Team Lead within Kearney’s Riyadh office, you will be supporting the local leadership to impact our invoicing and collections activity in the Kingdom. You will be responsible for supporting the Accounts receivable, Working Capital, and other ad-hoc areas when the need arises. We need an experienced hire who is a self-starter, and a true professional committed to delivering an improvement in our DSO. This means we invoice quicker and get paid on time.The position reports directly to the Head of Collections, and works closely with Finance teams in Dubai, South Africa, Turkey, London, and Chicago; as well as other local functions such as HR, Staffing, Office Management, and Legal.You will be part of the ME Finance team consisting of 28 members.Key responsibilitiesMeet both private and government representatives to resolve any queries to receive our payment in a timely mannerWorking with our internal project teams to understand how you can support them in collecting outstanding AR’sUnderstanding and implementing the steps/processes on both the client portals and the Etimad portal to ensure a smooth processJoin working capital calls with the partners/principals to understand their project, support Working Capital and provide updatesCollating all administrative documents needed by the client to process our invoices/set us up as a vendor in the client’s portal.Accounting:Builds relationships with both client and government officials to assist in cash collectionsWorking with Kearney project teams to understand the client/job and support them where requiredAssists in providing information to the client finance team on collections so they can prepare the cashflow forecast for the region to head officeEnsures compliance with internal controls and policies as well as regulatory and statutory requirements.Assistance with internal/external audits around all areas where necessary, and generally to support their peersReviews and contributes ideas to improve internal policies around collectionsWho you areAfter nearly 100 years, we know this business is fundamentally about making connections - between facts, figures, insights, strategies, tools, technologies and above all, people. Progress toward or completion of a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is preferred.Have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Professional services industry experience is desirableHave a strong knowledge of Working Capital cycle and WIP/AR accountingPossess strong excel skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
