Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, particularly in the restaurant industry, and will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. Experience with Odoo ERP is a plus, as well as familiarity with Saudi Arabia (KSA) or UAE financial regulations. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within a multinational environment.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against budget and prior periods.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Utilize Odoo ERP (preferred) to streamline accounting processes and enhance data management.
• Stay updated with KSA or UAE accounting regulations and apply this knowledge as necessary.
• Support the finance team in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
