Job Description
Role Purpose
The Head of Finance will oversee and manage the financial health of the organization, ensuring effective planning, reporting, and compliance. Acting as both a strategic advisor and operational leader, the Finance Head will support executive decision-making, optimize resources, and drive financial discipline across the business. This role combines financial strategy with hands-on leadership of the Finance team to enable sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Monitor key financial indicators to ensure business performance and profitability.
Financial Operations & Control
Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning to safeguard financial stability.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure audit readiness and compliance.
Maintain strong internal controls to minimize risks and ensure accountability.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with operations, HR, and commercial teams to optimize costs and enhance efficiency.
Support business expansion, investments, and growth opportunities through financial modeling and analysis.
Lead initiatives to improve financial systems, processes, and automation.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to strengthen capabilities and performance.
Foster a culture of integrity, ownership, and continuous improvement within the department.
Drive adoption of digital tools and analytics for improved financial decision-making.
Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/ACCA/CFA is a plus.
15-20 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Experience in a diversified or fast-growing company is an advantage.
