Import Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full import process for shipments, ensuring smooth and timely execution from booking to delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Import Operations Specialist will be responsible for booking and tracking outbound with carriers and overseas agents. Prepare purchase orders for suppliers. Timely follow-up of priority orders and delivery appointments.

Responsibilities include: 

• Responsible for managing the full import process for a shipment, end to end.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments. 
• Liaising with suppliers and necessary teams on all documentation required for clearing of shipments.
• Review all updates of customs regulations of importation and act accordingly.
• Review and confirm all shipping requirements prior to shipping to ensure it is compatible with custom regulations.
• Follow up with the suppliers, freight forwarder, and customs broker till receiving the shipment.
