Job Description
1- Budget Preparation & Variance Analysis
- Collect historical cost data to develop annual budget estimates.
- Analyze variances between actual costs and forecasts, recommending corrective actions.
- Provide detailed reports to management on financial performance and budget adherence.
- Develop cost optimization strategies to enhance financial efficiency.
2- Inventory Monitoring & Control
- Track inventory levels and analyze storage-related costs.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to minimize discrepancies and waste.
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure optimal material availability.
- Enhance inventory management policies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
3- Cost Systems Development & ERP Implementation
- Design and implement a comprehensive cost accounting system tailored to production projects.
- Input and analyze financial data within the ERP system for accuracy and reporting.
- Improve accounting processes related to cost tracking for better transparency.
- Train relevant teams on ERP cost accounting functionalities for seamless adoption.
4- Pricing Strategy & Cost Analysis
- Develop accurate pricing models based on material costs, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Conduct profitability analysis for different project types and custom orders.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing.
- Monitor market trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
5- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reports reflecting cost and inventory performance.
- Develop financial analysis tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights into project profitability and manufacturing efficiency.
- Optimize reporting processes using advanced financial analytics tools.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cost accounting, inventory management, and pricing analysis, in the manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding manufacturing cost structures, raw material procurement, pricing strategies, and inventory workflows.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance pricing models.
- Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams.
