Job Description
Our law firm in North Vancouver, BC, Canada is growing fast and we’re hiring an Egypt-based Community Outreach Coordinator to add to our Client Acquisition team.
To be eligible for this position:
- You must live in Egypt
- Speak and write both Arabic and English fluently. (C1/C2 English proficiency)
- Be willing to work in Vancouver time (9am-5pm, M-F, some weekends on rare occasion, Pacific Standard Time - [UTC/GMT -7 hour)
- You will report to our Client Acquisition Manager, who is also based in Egypt.
What you’ll be doing: Your job will be to develop and execute outreach strategies that connect our law firm with local communities, increase public awareness of our firm's services, and build relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and potential clients.
Your job’s goal: To enhance our firm’s visibility and strengthen relationships with key community and professional networks.
Focus for your community outreach:
- You’ll engage with local organizations, mosques, and associations representing the Arab community in British Columbia, Canada.
- You’ll build and maintain relationships with other professional and business communities that are a good fit for our law firm’s services.
What you’ll do day to day:
- Research, plan and proactively seek out groups and organizations that would benefit from our law firm’s services.
- Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and speaking engagements that would showcase our law firm and what we offer to our clients.
- Increase our firm’s community presence by being active in appropriate social media groups, commenting regularly in a professional manner.
- Research, target and monitor appropriate online publications, posting post value added pieces that show the abilities and value of our law firm’s services.
- Seek out and engage with professionals and business networks, in our local region, and BC to increase our law firm’s visibility.
- Keep track of and evaluate your efforts for value and effectiveness, report your efforts regularly to the Client Acquisition Manager.
- Work along side our Client Acquisition Manager, Client Intake Coordinator, Media buyers and others to create and present a unified client acquisition effort.
- Guide and direct the development and creation of event-related and public engagement marketing materials, including social media related assets.
Monthly compensation: 20,000 EGP / month, we are seeking a long-term independent contractor arrangement with the successful candidate.
Job Requirements

You’ll also need to have these skills:
- Ability to be proactive
- Proven skills as a planner and coordinator
- Fluency in social media and business professional-level communication
- Proficiency in professional networking and engagement
- Reporting skills and willingness to be accountable
- Ability to work with a team, collaborate on efforts and accept direction
- Understanding of the elements of effective marketing materials in a business setting
You’ll need at least 2 years experience in these things to be considered for this job:
- Experience with public relations, community engagement, or event coordination.
- Experience with influencer marketing, digital collaborations, or social media partnerships.
- Experience with Social Media management for a business offering a professional service. (Candidates with experience promoting lawyers, accountants or other business consultants will be preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to engage diverse communities.
- Experience working with a client acquisition team
