Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel & Community Management
○ Manage Telegram channels and groups, ensuring timely posting, pinning, and
content scheduling.
○ Coordinate with content and design teams for aligned publishing.
2. Community Engagement
○ Respond to inquiries and comments with clarity, empathy, and
professionalism.
○ Moderate conversations to maintain a respectful and helpful environment.
3. Interactive Content & Gamification
○ Design and run quizzes, polls, contests, and discussion threads to boost
participation.
○ Implement engaging learning prompts aligned with ULA’s curriculum and campaigns.
4. Growth & Insights
○ Track and report performance metrics: engagement rate, growth, retention,
and user feedback.
○ Analyze trends and optimize strategies to increase active members and
conversions.
5. Bots & Automation
○ Build and maintain Telegram bots for onboarding, FAQs, quizzes, or
campaigns.
○ Coordinate with the tech team for advanced integrations when needed.
6. Content Quality Assurance
○ Review educational materials before publication on Telegram to ensure clarity,
accuracy, and alignment with brand tone.
7. Competitive Intelligence
○ Monitor peer and competitor activity on Telegram, benchmarking performance
and testing new approaches.
8. Ad Management (Optional)
○ If applicable, manage or assist in managing Telegram Ads campaigns,
tracking ROI and performance.
9. Trend Monitoring
○ Stay on top of trending student concerns (e.g., exam dates, education
policies, online learning) and reflect them in Telegram content timely.
10. Documentation & SOPs
Build and maintain internal guides: FAQs, response templates, escalation
procedures.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Education Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media or community management, preferably in EdTech or youth-focused platforms.
- Deep understanding of Telegram features (bots, pinned posts, channels vs. groups).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Basic technical fluency or ability to work closely with developers for bot integration.
- Familiarity with the Saudi education system is a plus. Preferred Skills
- Strong soft skills, including empathy, active listening, and clear communication to effectively manage and grow student communities.
- Organizational skills to manage scheduling, content coordination, and performance reporting with accuracy and consistency.
- Hands-on experience or understanding of building Telegram bots using no-code/low-code tools or through coordination with developers.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Trello, etc.) to manage workflows and documentation.
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva Magic Write, Notion AI) for content drafting, automated responses, and community insights.
- Familiarity with the Saudi education system and student behavior around Qudrat and Tahsili exams is a plus
