Job Description
Research and identify reliable international suppliers (with a focus on Chinese suppliers).
Collect, organize, and analyze supplier quotations, catalogs, and technical documentation.
Handle RFQs and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate responses.
Communicate directly with Chinese suppliers regarding specifications, pricing, and capabilities.
Maintain a database of qualified international vendors and sourcing records.
Support internal procurement and logistics teams with pre-purchase data and supplier recommendations.
Assist in landed cost analysis and supplier comparisons.
Stay updated on international supply markets, material trends, and sourcing risks.
Ensure suppliers comply with import regulations and company quality standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language or Chinese Studies (mandatory).
Background in Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Import Procurement (through experience, internships, or related roles).
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) – written and spoken (mandatory).
Strong research, analysis, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.
