Job Description
- Handle day-to-day procurement operations including sourcing, quotation requests, and supplier follow-up.
- Evaluate and compare supplier offers in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in contract negotiation and cost reduction initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Bachelor's Degree or above
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Purchasing, preferably within shipping companies or the logistics sector
