Job Description

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the highest quality raw materials and packaging for coffee production.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure optimal value and maintain cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and avoid shortages.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and storage of goods.
  • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to support business growth and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and supplier capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and internal collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
