Job Description
Responsibilities
- Guide operators on PVC Compounding Lines to ensure optimal production processes.
- Conduct tests on materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Schedule production and orders to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
- Check and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality.
- Assist the Chemist Manager in overseeing production processes and resolving any issues.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, implementing solutions to fix them promptly.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports by collecting and analyzing data.
- Maintain and update data sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and other relevant documents regularly.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with operators and other team members to optimize production processes.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Stay updated with new technologies and processes in the field.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates to 2 years of experience, including internships in a manufacturing or laboratory setting preferred plastic or PVC manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for conducting tests, analyzing data, and generating accurate reports.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, particularly in testing plastic materials.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with operators.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to create and update data sheets, MSDS, and other technical documents.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Must be a resident of 10th of Ramadan City, Sharqia.
- Preferred women candidates will be considered for this role, as per the company's policy or preference.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods and engage in physical activities such as walking.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in quality control and assurance in a manufacturing setting.
