Job Description
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with group and local requirements.
- Manage budget and forecast processes, ensuring accurate variance analysis and actionable insights for management.
- Prepare monthly dashboards with detailed commentary on revenue, margins, expenses, cash flow, and working capital.
- Monitor AR collections, AP balances, inventory/stock aging, and highlight risks & opportunities.
- Support decision-making with ad hoc analysis for management and group finance.
- Audit, Taxes & Control
- Supervise year-end audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion of statutory and group financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including corporate, VAT, withholding, and export-related taxes.
- Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulators.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures in line with group governance.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts, ensuring liquidity for operational needs.
- Manage relationships with banks, ensuring efficient handling of export-related transactions (LCs, guarantees, FX settlements).
- Support management in hedging strategies for currency and commodity exposure.
- Cost Control & Business Partnering
- Analyze product costing, export margins, and logistics costs to support pricing and negotiation decisions.
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial insight into business performance.
- Drive initiatives to optimize working capital and reduce financial risks.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience as Financial Controller (aggregate of 10 years of experience)
- Audit experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions.
- Experience in agricultural/commodity trading/export sector is an advantage.
- Participation in policies & procedures set up and implementation is a plus.
- ERP experience.
- ( Microsoft office ) Excel professional
- Power BI knowledge is a plus .
