Job Description
- Supervise the preparation of journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
- Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure accurate and transparent account balances.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide periodic reports to senior management.
- Submit monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for projects.
- Monitor project cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial readiness.
- Coordinate with banks for credit facilities and loan arrangements.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets and forecasts.
- Track and control project costs to minimize variances between estimated and actual expenses.
- Work with procurement and project teams to set financial priorities and ensure cost control.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting and tax standards.
- Handle tax filings and maintain communication with tax authorities.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring full legal and financial compliance.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
- Provide training and guidance to enhance team efficiency and financial compliance.
- Oversee financial planning and budgeting activities.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
- Over 15 years of financial experience, with at least 10 years in the construction sector.
- Age between 44 and 50 years.
- Proven track record in construction companies managing projects worth EGP 3+ billion (at least 4 projects).
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax laws.
- Experience in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and team management experience.
