Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Finance Manager at Billqode, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial planning, reporting, and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in budgeting, preparing financial statements, and treasury management, with a background in fintech or related industries being highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage, and oversee annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Work on the preparation and analysis of final financial statements
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly balance sheets
  • Create, validate, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
  • Monitor and manage treasury operations, including cash flow, funding, and liquidity
  • Support financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to align on financial goals and performance metrics

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial statements, general ledger, and journal entries
  • Proven experience preparing and managing balance sheets
  • Solid knowledge of treasury operations and cash flow management
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in fintech or a fast-paced tech-driven environment is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are a plus
