Job Description
- Monitor critical quality parameters during production to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct in-process testing for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
- Track and analyze key production data (e.g., batch records, temperature, pH, moisture content) and provide real-time feedback to operators to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Identify and resolve process-related quality issues quickly to minimize production delays. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and rectify issues related to equipment, raw materials, and processes.
- Collect in-process samples for lab analysis, ensuring that all product characteristics remain within established specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks, including batch reports, non-conformities, corrective actions, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, hygiene, and safety protocols throughout the production process. Assist in audits, inspections, and investigations related to product quality.
- Work closely with the production team to implement process improvements, optimize yields, reduce waste, and improve overall product consistency.
- Provide training to production staff on IPC standards and the importance of maintaining quality throughout the production process.
- Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices for herbal product quality control.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, ideally within the FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
