CNC Turning & Machining Engineer

Job Objective:

To supervise and manage CNC turning and machining operations, ensuring accurate manufacturing of parts as per technical drawings, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing machining efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and modify CNC programs (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Heidenhain).
2. Oversee machine setup and ensure parts match dimensional specifications.
3. Diagnose and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
4. Train technicians and operators on CNC operations and measurement tools.
5. Ensure availability of required tools, inserts, and fixtures for operations.
6. Enforce safety regulations and best practices in the workshop.
7. Prepare performance and production reports.
8. Coordinate with the quality department for product inspection and approval.
9. Participate in preventive maintenance of CNC machines.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement in cycle time and process stability.
