Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator specializing in Impact Hammer operations for Jetty Construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating impact hammers for pile driving, ensuring that piles are driven to precise specifications for jetty foundation work.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Impact Hammer Operation: Operate impact hammers for pile driving during jetty construction, ensuring the proper installation of piles in marine environments.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance of the impact hammer and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Protocols: Follow all safety regulations and protocols for operating heavy equipment in marine environments.
- Coordination: Work closely with the site foreman, barge master, and engineers to ensure that piling work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
- Log Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, maintenance, and any issues encountered during pile driving.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Valid certification for operating impact hammers or heavy equipment.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience operating impact hammers or similar equipment in jetty or marine construction projects.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of impact hammer operations and the pile driving process in marine environments.
- Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety standards and best practices for operating heavy machinery in marine construction.
Language:
- English is required.
- Arabic is preferred
