Job Description
Job Mission:
Microbiologists are involved in carrying out microbiological tests for all kind of products (raw materials, packaging material, bulk products and finished products.
Microbiologists carry out environmental control programs & water analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performs all microbiological analysis for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Performs water analysis.
- Conducts environmental control programs.
- Performs validation and calibration as required.
- Responsible for culture conservation (growth promotion).
- Assists in issuing SOP’s for microbiological methods.
- Ensures that work is compliant with GLP & GMP.
- Be responsible for work area cleanliness.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Personal Attributes:
- Knowledge of trends and innovations in the area of quality control management.
- Good oral and written communication skills are needed to communicate with senior
- Management, other departments or branches, and for writing quality control procedures.
- Keen observation abilities, alertness.
Job Specification:
- B.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Chemistry, preferably Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Not less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to understand and comply with GMP.
- Preferably good chemistry knowledge and analytical chemistry lab experience. Computer operation ability is an asset.
- Strong Observation Skills.
