Job Description
We are looking for an IT specialist to manage, monitor, and maintain our internal and cloud infrastructure, as well as deploy and install our solutions. The position is based in Cairo.
The role involves managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure across multiple countries, including both cloud and on-premise hosting.
- Monitor IT infrastructure using modern tools to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure the availability and optimal performance of the entire system.
- Manage Linux and Windows servers, workstations, and application servers using RMM tools.
- Deploy applications and security patches in compliance with company standards, utilizing infrastructure management tools.
- Perform operating system updates and ensure security measures are in place.
- Monitor and optimize Office 365 user accounts to control costs effectively.
- Manage SSL certificates to maintain secure communications.
- Analyze and monitor system logs for insights and troubleshooting.
- Ensure reliable data backups to protect critical information.
- Manage and control SFTP servers for secure file transfers.
- Install and document Novative business applications for both clients and cloud environments.
- Adhere to the company’s ISO 27001 procedures for security and compliance.
Job Requirements
Hard Skills
- Proven experience as an IT specialist, with specific expertise in Linux and Windows systems
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Expertise in network protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SSL, SSH, and TCP.
- Strong incident management skills with the ability to quickly resolve complex technical issues related to Unix systems.
- Extensive knowledge of networks, servers, and virtualization, particularly in Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps, including tools like GitLab and GitLab Runner for automated deployment.
- Comprehensive understanding of SSL certificate creation and renewal.
- System administration certification in Linux and Windows is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is an advantage.
