Job Purpose
The Technical Sales Engineer will drive sales growth by providing technical expertise, building strong client relationships, and promoting our ready-mix concrete solutions. This role blends engineering knowledge with sales skills to ensure customer satisfaction and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the ready-mix concrete market.
- Manage and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and key accounts.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations to clients, ensuring solutions align with project specifications and standards.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and technical submittals.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure product performance and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer need to identify growth opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the Ready-Mix division.
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in sales within the Ready-Mix Concrete industry (mandatory).
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete properties, mix designs, and applications.
- Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
