Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Provide customers with correct and detailed "Quotation Service Contract" with information regarding all related.
- Follow up on provided quotations to new customers.
- Discuss your quotation, competitor's quotation and compare details if customer is still undecided about booking with our company
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Respond to incoming queries and ensures the resolution of service
- Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
- Sell value producing transportation and logistics services and solutions
- Prepare and attend client meetings
- Interact and negotiate with carriers for individual and long term contracts
- Give good know-how of the service providers and customers
- Assist new customers to complete company booking process
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and plans.
- Increase sales while meeting targets, be able to obtain necessary services and rates
- Manage sales leads and inquiries through the various stages of the sales process.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
- Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities
- Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
- Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
Work Shift: From 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Job Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- 2+ year’ experience in shipping and freight forwarding field
- Previous experience at the same job
- Bachelor of related background education.
Skills and Personality Requirements:
- Professional English Language command
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Presentable.
- Good Appearance and well dressed.
- Able to provide quote to customers promptly
- Excellent presentation skills
- The ability to work as a member of a team
- Good understanding on market trend and demand
