What you’ll do
Daily/Weekly Operations
- Reconcile Shopify orders, refunds, discounts, and shipping fees with payment gateways (e.g., Paymob/Kashier), bank statements, wallets, and COD courier settlements (collections minus delivery fees/RTS).
- Maintain AR/AP ledgers, vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Track returns/RTS and their financial impact (revenue reversal, shipping, write-backs).
- Inventory & COGS
- Maintain SKU-level inventory, landed cost sheets (product cost, freight, duties, packaging).
- Post COGS and inventory adjustments; investigate variances and shrinkage.
Close & Reporting - Run month-end close (JE, accruals, prepayments, depreciation) with checklists.
- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and unit economics (AOV, gross margin per SKU).
- Build cash-flow forecasts and working-capital dashboards.
Job Requirements
- What you’ll bring
- BSc in Accounting/Finance; 3–5 years experience (at least 2 years in e-commerce/D2C preferred).
- Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax (VAT, WHT, e-invoicing/e-receipts) and basic IFRS/EAS.
- Hands-on with Shopify, Google Sheets/Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
- Comfortable reconciling payment gateways and COD couriers end-to-end.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and clear English/Arabic communication.
- Must have a laptop.
- Work on site.
