Job Description
As a Light Current Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the sales lifecycle by providing expert technical support and designing tailored low-current (ELV) solutions. You will work closely with sales teams, clients, consultants, and technology partners to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather technical requirements through meetings, site visits, and RFP/RFQ analysis.
- Design and propose integrated ELV solutions including:
- CCTV & Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Public Address Systems
- Structured Cabling (Voice/Data)
- IPTV & SMATV
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Prepare and validate BOQs, technical proposals, compliance statements, and detailed drawings.
- Support the sales team in technical presentations, demos, and proposal submissions.
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure the best-fit solutions and pricing.
- Provide technical clarifications and respond to consultant and client queries.
- Ensure all solutions comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in project handover meetings and support the transition to implementation teams.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a presales or technical role within the ELV/Low Current industry.
- Hands-on experience with leading ELV brands such as Bosch, Hikvision, Honeywell, Avigilon, Axis, Schneider, etc.
- Previous experience in GCC or MEA region is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and integration principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
