About the Opportunity
Ur-Serv LLC, in partnership with Fiber-com, continues to grow as a leader in advanced network infrastructure, smart systems, and ICT solutions.
We are hiring multiple Technical Network Engineers to support the implementation and technical training of smart solutions across Egypt.
Role Overview
As a Technical Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and commissioning of both passive and active network systems, as well as supporting system integrators through technical training and on-site guidance.
You will work hands-on in deploying Fiber-com’s solutions, which include smart systems such as automation, CCTV, fire alarm, lighting, and energy management.
Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential, as you will interact with integrator teams and project stakeholders on-site.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the installation, configuration, and commissioning of active and passive network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, fiber optics, structured cabling, routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, etc.).
- Provide technical training (both classroom and on-site) to integrators and project teams on the implementation and troubleshooting of Fiber-com’s network and smart systems.
- Supervise and support integrator teams during system deployment, ensuring adherence to standards and project timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to networking or smart systems on-site.
- Assist in preparing training materials, technical documentation, and commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with sales, project managers, and technical support teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently from implementation to handover.
- Handle consultant and client feedback during implementations and adjust configurations or deployment steps as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network implementation, support, or system integration involving both passive and active networks.
- Ability to lead on-site implementation teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge in deploying at least two or three systems from Fiber-com’s portfolio (e.g., CCTV, fire alarm, automation, lighting control, energy management).
- Certifications such as CCNA (required), CCNP (preferred) or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with vendors like Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, and Juniper.
Technical Skills
- Network infrastructure: LAN/WAN architecture, structured cabling, fiber installations.
- Configuration and support of switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
- Experience integrating smart solutions such as CCTV systems, lighting, BMS, and automation.
- Training delivery, documentation writing, and user support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.

- Proficient in technical tools and documentation platforms.
- Willing to travel across regions (Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and others).
