Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Service Execution & Technical Support
- Lead and perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair machines and systems in workshop and at customer sites.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, blowers, and related equipment.
- Diagnose technical problems, propose solutions, and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns.
- Prepare service reports, failure analyses, and recommendations for customers.
- Provide technical guidance to junior service engineers and technicians during field assignments.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary technical contact for key customers during service interventions.
- Provide professional support, advice, and training to customer maintenance teams.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and follow-up.
Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Spare Parts and Order Processing teams to ensure availability of required components.
- Support the Sales team with technical expertise for service contracts, upgrades, and modernization projects.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed service records, intervention reports, and documentation for each job.
- Monitor machine performance trends and proactively suggest improvements to customers.
- Provide feedback to management on recurring issues, product reliability, and service process improvements.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all service work is carried out in compliance (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and customer site regulations.
- Promote safe working practices among service teams and customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, or commissioning of industrial rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, blowers, turbines, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, alignment, and overhauls of rotating machinery.
- Strong understanding of pneumatic systems, electrical controls, and automation basics.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (German language is a plus).
- Leadership skills with ability to mentor and guide junior engineers/technicians.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, customer orientation, and flexibility to travel.
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP/ERP experience is an advantage.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently inside Egypt and occasionally abroad.
