Job Description
We are looking for a Senior structure engineer to work for a various building kind with different purposes .
The Candidate will be responsible to design the Structural system for these kinds of buildings using the code followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Main Job Duties:
- Structural drawings, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Consults with client to determine functional and technical requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, bill of quantities, and construction time.
- Plan and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval. Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
- Prepares structural studies, and design reports.
- Highly proficient in structural software especially CSI Programs (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000), Prokon. Professional in using AutoCAD & qualified to use Revit.
- Directs activities of co-workers engaged in preparing structural drawings, structural design, and specification documents.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
- From 08 to 12 years of experience in structural engineering
- A bachelor's degree in civil/construction engineering.
- Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus
- Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design
- Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers
- Great computational and spatial ability
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree of Structure Engineering
- Revit is a MUST
- Very good knowledge of international codes and standards and for Saudi Arabian Civil Defense standards
- Excellent ETABS, SAFE, SAP 2000 and Excel
- Very Good English Language
- Very Good computer skills "Microsoft Office"
- Very strong organizational skills
