Job Description
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software to support product development and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to integrate mechanical designs into complete solar solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analyses to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design specifications, test results, and engineering changes.
- Support the selection and specification of materials, components, and manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during installation, commissioning, and operation of solar systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance product quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and renewable energy applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the renewable energy or related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with design validation techniques, including simulations and stress analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
