Job Description
- Receive the project documents from the Tender department and review them to contact concerned departments in case there is missing information.
- Study the project documents and break down the project elements to classify these elements into packages.
- Review the vendors’ profiles to select the most appropriate ones according to the organization’s criteria.
- Set the procurement plan including the packages, their priorities and weights, duration between down payment and start up activities in the site and the suggested vendor list to be reviewed by the direct manager and approved by the Project Manager.
- Send the project packages to the vendors to study them technically and financially.
- Conduct cost breakdown for project items to facilitate the negotiation process with the vendors.
- Receive the technical and financial offers from the vendors and review them to ensure that they comply with the project requirements.
- Compare between the offers and start the negotiation process with vendors to minimize the cost and coordinate payment terms.
- Prepare and finalize the comparison sheet to be sent to the Project Manager for approval.
- Prepare the subcontractor/supplier’s documents and send them to the material team for approval.
- Evaluate the vendors and subcontractors, negotiate prices with them and prepare contracts that maximize benefits for the organization and satisfy the projects’ needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Civil, Arch)
- 5 – 7 Years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
- AutoCAD
- Construction Field is a Must
