Job Description
Port Facility Security Officer. (PFSO) means the person designated by the port facility operator as responsible for the development, implementation, revision and maintenance of the port facility security plan and for liaison with the ship security officer and the company security officer; port security.
- Developing, Maintaining and Supervising the implementation of a Port Facility Security Plan.
- Assessment, security risks, threats and vulnerability.
- Understanding the interface between ports and ships.
- Principles of security including access control, screening measures and security responsibilities of security personnel.
- Audit verification, security documentation and records.
- Testing, maintenance and calibration of security equipment.
- Encouraging security awareness and vigilance.
- Identification of weapons and improvised explosive devices.
- Conducting security training, drills and exercises.
- Finishing all necessary permits.
- Understanding of the ISPS Code.
Job Requirements
- Education : Police Or Military background “IS a MUST”
- Courses & Certificates : NEBOSH , OSHA “are preferred”
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge: MS office.
- Skills: Leadership.
- Abilities: Attentive, Active , Attention to Details & Planning.
