Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control, Inspection & Material Control

  • Supervise the inspection of raw materials upon receipt and ensure they meet quality standards before release to production.
  • Monitor in-process quality checks and finished product inspections to maintain compliance with specifications.
  • Manage material control processes including traceability, usage tracking, and coordination with warehouse and production teams.
  • Oversee laboratory operations and ensure accurate sampling and testing protocols.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure full adherence to food safety systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP.
  • Maintain detailed quality records, inspection logs, batch tracking, and documentation for audits.
  • Support and lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Production Support & Quality Resolution

  • Investigate non-conforming materials and product deviations; lead root cause analysis and initiate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Work collaboratively with production and supply chain teams to solve material or quality-related issues.
  • Monitor quality-related KPIs and ensure process parameters are aligned with product standards.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Train and supervise the quality control team on inspection techniques, food safety, and material control procedures.
  • Identify and implement improvements in inspection processes and quality performance.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of quality control and material inspection experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing sector, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Deep understanding of material control, product traceability, and food safety systems.
  • Strong experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Sadat City.
