Job Description

  • Site engineer responsibilities include executing the installation and maintenance of equipment for HVAC - VRF - Firefighting, supervising technicians, preparing reports, monitoring health and safety standards, and dealing with clients.

 

  •  Estimates prepare and assign resources such as (manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc.) required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution.
  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force.
  • Review, submittal and follow up of the projects shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Maintaining the project’s time schedule, and monthly look-ahead.
  •  Ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
  • Preparing and submittals of project documents, which includes but not limited to:

-  Daily reports.
-  Material Inspection Requests (MIR)
-  Work inspection requests. (WIR)
-  Requests for information’s. (RFI)
-  Variation orders.

  • Planning and coordinating site work with other disciplines.
  • Review and ensure the documents prepared meets the quality standard requirements.
  • Responsible for timely delivery of the expected outputs,
  • Review the design of services for projects according to the Client’s Design requirement and as per international standards and codes of practices.
  •  Monitor delivery of services design documents. Highlight possible late delivery prior to the event.
  •  Carry out site inspections and assessments as required and prepare reports when required,
  •  Proactively manage the design/review projects, ensuring that they meet the high standards, while delivering the program within its time and budget constraints.
  •  Coordinate the works and submissions with all other disciplines; Architectural, Structural and Electrical Design Engineers and Quantity Surveyors (QS),
  •  Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. 
  • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
