Job Description
- Site engineer responsibilities include executing the installation and maintenance of equipment for HVAC - VRF - Firefighting, supervising technicians, preparing reports, monitoring health and safety standards, and dealing with clients.
- Estimates prepare and assign resources such as (manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc.) required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force.
- Review, submittal and follow up of the projects shop drawings and material submittals.
- Maintaining the project’s time schedule, and monthly look-ahead.
- Ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
- Preparing and submittals of project documents, which includes but not limited to:
- Daily reports.
- Material Inspection Requests (MIR)
- Work inspection requests. (WIR)
- Requests for information’s. (RFI)
- Variation orders.
- Planning and coordinating site work with other disciplines.
- Review and ensure the documents prepared meets the quality standard requirements.
- Responsible for timely delivery of the expected outputs,
- Review the design of services for projects according to the Client’s Design requirement and as per international standards and codes of practices.
- Monitor delivery of services design documents. Highlight possible late delivery prior to the event.
- Carry out site inspections and assessments as required and prepare reports when required,
- Proactively manage the design/review projects, ensuring that they meet the high standards, while delivering the program within its time and budget constraints.
- Coordinate the works and submissions with all other disciplines; Architectural, Structural and Electrical Design Engineers and Quantity Surveyors (QS),
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
