Job Description
- Translate and review various company files (financial, marketing, software, business, legal...) from Arabic into English and vice versa.
- Using specialized dictionaries, thesauruses, and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology, words, and idioms used.
- Attend meetings and translation discussions and consult with experts in specialist areas
- Provide translators with feedback to improve quality.
- Discuss translation quality issues with the translation team.
- Working to develop the processes and procedures of the translation team through building glossaries, transfer knowledge… etc.
- Filling in daily reports regarding the achievements and translation quality.
- Support in any other related task.
Job Requirements
- BA degree from Faculty of Arts, Al-Alsun, or any similar degree.
- Excellent writing skills and command of grammar at both English and Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge of translation and editing techniques.
- 5+ years of experience in the translation and localization filed. Experience in financial field is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge.
- Work under minimal or no supervision.
- Attention to details and a critical eye to note errors and correct them.
- A strong team spirit.
- Sense of urgency: ability to juggle priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
