Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing research to identify new suppliers for construction and interior design materials.
• Build and develop strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring their continued satisfaction and cooperation.
• Solicit and compare price quotations from suppliers, select the most advantageous offers, and respond with acceptance or rejection.
• Manage negotiations with suppliers regarding product quality, prices, specifications, discounts, penalties, returns, delivery mechanisms, payment terms, and duration.
• Maintain records of internal and external purchase orders, price quotations, and contracts for easy reference and review.
• Maintain regular communication with site managers to identify material shortages, initiate purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated on market trends and price fluctuations for materials, providing timely updates to the procurement team.
• Evaluate and categorize suppliers, and determine whether to extend or terminate their accreditation.
• Prepare necessary reports before and after purchases, and present them to the Materials Engineer for approval.
• Align with the company policies and procedures and documentary cycle in all sourcing steps.
• Ensure that incoming goods and materials match the purchase orders.
• Purchase materials in accordance with approved budgets and financial management policies and guidelines.
