Job Description
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure seamless procurement, and distribution of medical devices.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory management, logistics, and vendor relationships.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, and quality assurance to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and timely delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize shortages and reduce excess stock, ensuring optimal stock turnover.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members to achieve departmental objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to medical device supply chain management.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and respond effectively to disruptions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and cost analysis to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy ,Medicine or Veterinary medicine.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within the medical devices or Pharmaceutical sector.
- Proven track record of managing supply chain operations in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical devices industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
