Mission statement:
The Sr. presales software systems consultant main duty is to handle all the tasks and needs related to the clients bids, like writing scope of work, writing technical and financial proposals in response to RFPs, technical presentations (Arabic and English), writing the PIDs (project information document), collaborative working with the other teams (sales, development, PMO, delivery … etc).
Main duties:
- Pre-sales activities, including writing technical and financial offers for RFPs.
- Serve primarily as an indoor pre-sales consultant, engaging with client stakeholders to assess business needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Lead the management of RFPs, especially published on Etimad portal in KSA, ensuring alignment of solutions while preparing detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, and commercial offers.
- Translate business requirements into precise technical workflows and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for new platform features and collaborate closely with product management to drive innovation.
- Provide consultation to internal teams to develop and refine cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, including product demonstrations and responses to RFPs.
- Deliver presentations on product capabilities to internal teams and prospective clients.
Job Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
- B.Sc Degree in computer engineering or computer science, with SW specialty.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in presales, mainly for the integrated solutions.
- Have solid knowledge of SW in various industries, like security, governmental, transport, and others.
- Have solid knowledge of data and database aspects.
- Have solid knowledge of SW modeling techniques and tools.
- Have solid knowledge of management of RFPs in KSA.
- Have acceptable knowledge of the laws and rules related to RFPs in KSA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.Sc Degree in computer engineering or computer science, with SW specialty.
- Certifications of: PMI-PBA and/or TOGAF
- Previous experience SW development
- Previous experience in data analysis or data science
- Previously employed in an international SW house
- Previous experience in presales or project management for governmental agencies in KSA
