Job Description
We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic Production Department Manager to lead our production team. If you're a results-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing, process improvement, and people management, we want to hear from you.
As the Production Department Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all production activities to ensure we achieve our strategic goals for efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Production Leadership: Lead and monitor the execution of production plans, making necessary adjustments to meet targets and ensure continuous, smooth operations with minimal downtime
- Operational Excellence: Improve the use of raw materials, minimize waste, and regularly analyze cost drivers to enhance profitability. You'll also implement total productive maintenance (TPM) initiatives to boost equipment performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure full compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP) and promote a strong safety culture in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Team & Process Management: Develop and implement training programs for employees, set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, and lead root cause analysis for any process deviations.
- Innovation: Propose and evaluate new technologies, and lead automation and digital transformation projects to improve operational efficiency and cost competitiveness
Job Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of previous experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience in managing industrial production lines. You should also have a strong knowledge of production improvement techniques like Lean Six Sigma.
- Management Skills: Proven ability in strategic thinking, people management, and decision-making.
