Job Description

  • Receiving purchase requisitions to prepare RFQ according to needed specs.
  • Compare quotations from different vendors to select the optimum due to (technical specs, delivery date, and payment terms).
  • Place ordered with pre settled and determined specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Manage and control stock according to min/max stock levels.
  • Update ERP system with correct prices, vendors data and delivery to have up to date vendors data base, purchased products and delivery information.
  • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
  • Work with the team members to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with other vendors.
  • Update planning team with any issue, concern with the suppliers which may impact the business operations with concerned vendors. 
  • Work cooperatively with other departments to obtain supplying right items on time.
  • Develop and maintain reports to monitor purchase requisitions, open orders status, delivery notes and payments follow up.
  • look for ways to reduce cost by consolidating purchases, source for new vendors, negotiating prices and payment terms

Job Requirements

  • BSc/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
