Job Description
- Source and identify reliable international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with foreign vendors.
- Manage the end-to-end international order process, from request to delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee international shipping and logistics (air, sea, land).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Handle all import/export documentation accurately (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Track orders and manage communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues that arise, such as shipping delays, customs holds, or quality discrepancies.
- Monitor currency exchange rates and their impact on purchasing costs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key international partners.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in international purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of international trade procedures and Incoterms.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a major plus.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
