Technical Lead
Department: Technology / Software Engineering

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in software engineering to join our growing team. This role is critical in driving the technical strategy, architecture, and execution of our healthcare technology solutions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of software development best practices, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for building scalable and secure systems in the health tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with business goals.
- Set coding standards and ensure adherence to best practices in code reviews and technical design.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to software developers and engineers.
- Own architectural decisions and technical roadmap for core systems and platforms.
- Oversee DevOps pipelines, deployment automation, and CI/CD integration.
- Drive performance optimization, refactoring, and modernization of legacy components.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Participate in technical hiring and team scaling initiatives.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3+ years in a lead or architect role.
- Strong command of modern backend and frontend technologies such as:
- .NET / C#, Node.js, Python
- Angular / React
- RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS is a plus).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Git.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in healthcare or health tech systems.
- Experience working with HL7/FHIR, healthcare data integrations is a strong plus.
- Experience leading remote or cross-functional teams.
