Job Description

  1. Assists management and other departmental staff in developing policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; interprets and advises staff on applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  2. Receive the student and teacher registration form.
  3. Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
  4. Manage drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
  5. Register and license all vehicles under their management.
  6. Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
  7. Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  8. Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  9. Be present at the meeting points designated for buses at six in the morning.
  10. Supervising the departure of each matron on the bus assigned to her in sufficient time.
  11. In the event that one of the matrons is absent or late for the course, a substitute must be appointed.
  12. When ensuring that all buses have departed from the assembly point, take the reserve bus to the school.
  13. Supervising the disembarkation of students and organizing the entry of buses to the designated gates.
  14. Taking daily arrival times for buses in conjunction with the security officer.
  15. Review the progress of buses and that there are no problems with students or the road.
  16. Supervising the closing of the gates designated for buses at specified time after all buses have entered.
  17. Coordinate bus problems at a specific time, such as 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. every day.
  18. Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises and reviews the work of assigned staff in the Fleet Services Division.. 
  19. Inform the administration of the delay or absence of any matron.
  20. Constantly warning the driver to follow management instructions.
  21. Report any car with a technical problems , unusual sound, or problems.
  22. Reporting the change of any school car, with emphasis to confirm the car and driver at each route.
  23. Organizing school cars on trips.
  24. Be present at the bus exit places a quarter of an hour before departure to ensure that all buses are in the places designated for them according to the serial numbers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics 
  • From 4 to 6 Years of experience in same position
  • Strong Management and leadership skills required
  • Experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignment to replacement cycling, from personal use to accident reporting
