Job Description
The fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatching, and performance of drivers and vehicles. Coordinates logistics, monitors fleet usage, and ensures compliance with safety and operational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise drivers and fleet operations.
- Schedule and dispatch vehicles based on operational needs.
- Monitor vehicle tracking systems and fuel usage.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and roadworthy.
- Maintain records (logs, mileage, inspections, etc.).
- Resolve operational issues and ensure timely deliveries.
- Report on fleet performance and KPIs.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 2–3 years in fleet or logistics operations; supervisory experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with GPS/fleet management systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
