Job Description
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to align production schedules with business objectives.
- Analyze production data, including capacity utilization, material requirements, and production lead times, to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Conduct regular planning meetings to communicate production schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and ensure smooth execution of production plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components, maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production schedules.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to track production performance, monitor KPIs, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Mentor and train junior planning staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience in planning, preferably in the garment or textile manufacturing industry is must.
- Proficiency in material and production planning processes.
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience in generating reports and analyzing production data.
- ICDL certification with a passed Excel exam.
- Intermediate or above proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work night shifts as required by production needs.
