Job Description
- Maintenance Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Budget & Spare Parts Management: Oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and management of spare parts and consumables.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, downtime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR) to assess and improve maintenance effectiveness.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and HSE departments to align maintenance activities with overall plant objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 8–10 years in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the home appliance or food and beverage industry.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing production machinery, electrical systems, automation, and utilities. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop maintenance teams, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial.
