Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the undergraduate admissions process, ensuring efficient handling of applications, inquiries, and interviews. Focuses on engaging prospective students through various channels, including walk-ins, school visits, and social media leads. Administers admission tests, conduct interviews, and maintain accurate and timely updates in the admissions system.
Accountabilities:
- Conducts walk-in sessions and school visits to provide information about undergraduate programs.
- Engages with potential students through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
- Provides detailed information about the university, admissions criteria, and program offerings.
- Handles day-to-day inquiries received through leads the admissions website, and social media.
- Assists potential students with application processes, ensuring all required documents are submitted.
- Updates and maintains application data in the Power Campus system daily.
- Administers and oversees online admission tests, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and fairly.
- Schedules, conducts, and coordinates interviews with prospective students.
- Evaluates interview results and updates applicant files accordingly.
- Reviews applicant files post-interview to ensure all information and documentation are complete.
- Issues acceptance letters to successful candidates and provides information on next steps.
- Ensures accurate record-keeping of all admissions decisions and communications.
- Works with the marketing department to manage and respond to social media leads.
- Participates in recruitment events and activities, representing the university to potential students.
- Provides feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
- Maintains regular communication with applicants throughout the admissions process.
- Follows up with admitted students to ensure completion of enrollment requirements.
Job Requirements
▪ Education: ▪ Bachelor’s degree Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
Education, or a related field.
▪ Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or related
administrative roles is preferred.
▪ Skills: Excellent Leadership Skills.
▪ Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
▪ Excellent Planning & Organizational skills.
▪ The ability to work with people from a range of backgrounds and with a
wide range of needs.
▪ Excellent Problem-Solving Skills & ability to think strategically
▪ Excellent level of English Language.
▪ Very Good knowledge of all MS. Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel…)
▪ Working Conditions : Five Days a week
